Training Program in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
Training Faculty
Our training program is centered on three research themes (basic, clinical, and public health), each of which is represented by ~7-8 Training Faculty. The members of our training faculty are not confined to the Division of Endocrinology but rather form a “Training Program without Walls.” Indeed, we actively encourage Trainees to work with the very best mentors available, whether or not they are in the Endocrine Division. The members of our training faculty have been specifically selected for their strong record of mentoring, their solid history of funding, and their enthusiasm for collaboration, collegiality, and interactivity. In this way, our training program in truly multidisciplinary in nature and facilitates the translational and cross-disciplinary research training essential for a successful career in biomedical research.
